Here's a look at the energy of April, plus four stones that can help you gain perspective, balance your viewpoint, embrace change, and find peace.

In my garden, the cherry trees are blooming. I can't tell you what a comfort those frilly pink flowers are to me right now. I am perennially ungrounded, so I often feel pulled hither and yon by whatever energies are around me. It's one reason nature calls to me so strongly. If ever there was a time to find peace in the plants and animals around you, this is it.

As I look at the energy of April 2024, I see a kind of jagged undertone. It's as if the energy itself can't decide where to settle. At the same time, spring is bringing with it a sense of freshness and renewal. I hope you can feel it.

Hello, what can we expect from the energy of April?

Twists and turns. A few tight spots. And a surprise or two. You can already feel that the energy of the month has a fizzy, nervous quality. Much of that is due to the eclipse of the sun on April 8th. Still, some is driven by what's happening in your world.

People are watching the events in your country and around the world. And while they are unsettling, in many quarters there also is a sense of hope, of change. We know that doesn't necessarily feel like a possibility on the world stage, but certainly in the United States a quality of change is in the air.

Is there anything special we should look for?

Well, the solar eclipse will almost certainly overshadow everything else. The energy of this eclipse should be titanic. Indeed, we don’t think that is too strong a word. A momentous energy is coming at you. It is an energy of light and an energy of change.

In many ways, April brings the energy of the tarot deck’s tower card. Look for a sudden change in the feeling of the air around you.

Can you give us a sense as to what those changes will entail?

The energy of change is what it is. It will touch every part of your life. If you're on stable ground in your life, the energy of change may make small ripples. If you are not on stable ground—and here we point to those actions and actors in your government—then the energy of change may have a much more pronounced effect.

What that tower card energy does is create conditions that are ripe for a turning of sorts, for a change in direction. It creates conditions that will support a different way of being. Indeed, in some situations, you may think things are going one way, but instead events may go in the opposite direction.

We want to reassure you that this eclipse is an energy of light. With the growing awareness of the light among people around the world, conditions are in place that can, in time, help create the life many are looking for.

How will the energy of April affect our personal lives?

As we've said, you may feel the ripples of a nervous energy in your personal life. It may bring minor surprises. For some, it may bring major surprises. Much depends on the level of light you are anchoring in your body.

The energy of April is an energy of renewal. Combine that with the energy of the solar eclipse, and what you get is a fresh spring breeze. A spring cleaning, if you will. And so, by the end of the month we expect that many people will feel more optimistic, more hopeful, refreshed and looking toward the future.

You mentioned the world stage a few minutes ago. Can we expect positive changes in Gaza and Ukraine?

We think that will take a little longer. There's still a lot happening behind the scenes that you are not aware of. You likely don't understand how well the Ukrainian people are doing in their fight against Russia, or how poorly Russia is doing in its fight to take over Ukraine. People in Russia are very unhappy with what's happening, and you will see more hints of that this month.

The situation in Gaza is more complex. There's a lot of darkness there, many dark players. There is energy around creating a break in the situation for the Palestinian people who are at such peril. There is energy around getting aid to those people. But there is very little energy around driving the changes needed to resolve that situation. It may take longer. We know that isn’t what you want to hear.

How can we work with the energy of April?

Consider wearing, carrying, sleeping with, or meditating with any of these four stones. Use your intuition to choose the right one in the moment.

• Find peace with pink kunzite. A stone of joy, kunzite connects the heart and mind. It encourages letting go of the sorrows of the past or anxiety about the future, and inspires you to be present in the perfection of the moment. Kunzite can help you move through the day with kindness, gentleness, and serenity.

• Embrace change with rose quartz. This stone of unconditional love helps you to accept necessary changes with peace. It is an exceptional ally in times of trauma and crisis. A stone for connecting with the overall human consciousness, rose quartz lets you see yourself and others from the heart.

• Balance your viewpoint with amazonite. A healer of the emotional body, amazonite lets you see a problem from another’s point of view. It calms the emotions and helps direct anger into more positive action. Amazonite also helps dispel negative energy and can help you communicate without becoming overly emotional.

• Gain perspective with K2 stone. Found only on Mount K2 in Pakistan, this relatively rare stone is a combination of azurite and granite. As such, it is at once a stone of heaven and of Earth. My own K2 stone tells me that it offers perspective. “I take you to the top of the mountain so you can look down," it says. "I show you what you’re missing. I show you gaps in your understanding.”

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?

Lift your head. Look into the heavens and be thankful for the assistance that is being provided to you and your world. Assistance is coming from the angelic realm and from many, many beings of light.

We wish you could see the host that has gathered to help project light into your world. We wish you could see the energies that are being brought to bear by the cycle of time and the cycle of your heavens. This is a moment of change. It is happening as foreseen by the prophets of old. Rejoice.
